The last bit to Tugboat Beach is on a dirt road with big potholes, drive carefully! If you don&#8217;t have your own transportation, we can of course arrange a cab for you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to expect.<\/h3>\n\n<p>After the check-in, you will receive instructions on how to operate the electric underwater scooter. That&#8217;s done in a few minutes, because it&#8217;s very simple. In groups of 2 to 4 people you will go into the water. The tour is suitable for both beginners and more experienced Seabob users. Of course, you\u00b4ll also get to borrow goggles.<\/p>\n\n<p>The tour begins at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Tugboat+Beach\/@12.0692767,-68.8630727,17.01z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x598832dbf8974c8f!8m2!3d12.0690112!4d-68.8616585\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tugboat Beach<\/a><\/strong>, a small beach just beyond Caracas Bay. A beautiful spot in itself, in close proximity to Fort Beekenburg and the Quarantine House atop the hill.  Going into the sea, you will have to swim about 328 ft. to get to Tugboat. But of course that swimming is not a problem with the Seabob! Tugboat is a tugboat that sunk here. At depth of about 23 feet, you will always see lots of beautiful tropical fish trough and around this boat. And if you go a little further, you can admire plenty of coral.<br\/>The underwater scooter is very easy to operate by means of the levers with which you hold on to the Seabob. On the display you can see how full the battery still is, so you don&#8217;t have to worry about &#8216;suddenly&#8217; running out of power.<br\/>Standard is a Seabob Tour for <strong>2 to 4 people at a time<\/strong>. Because the Seabob is fairly heavy, it will be difficult -especially in the beginning- for children to operate the machine. Hence our advice not to do this tour with children under the age of 13 (but it is allowed, at the responsibility of parents\/guardians).
