      Transportation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      – If you are staying in Pietermaai, Punda or Otrobanda (the neighborhoods centrally located in the city) then you will be picked up for free.– If you are staying in another location (e.g. Jan Thiel or Blue Bay) then no pickup service is<\/strong> offered. You will have to come to one of these two locations on your own: 1) Sunscape Resort, Mambo (including for Jan Thiel and other accommodations east of town)2) Dreams Cura\u00e7ao Resort, Piscadera (including for BlueBay and other accommodations west of town)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

      What does this Offroad Jeep Safari look like?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

      You will be picked up at your accommodation* by the big tough 4×4 Toyota Landcruiser. Since up to 24 people can join, this is usually quickly arranged and you leave town. Picking up at the accommodations in town we always try to do before 09:00 so that the tour can start on time and it really is a 4-hour excursion. You will take a beautiful tour along the north coast of Curacao, largely through an area you won’t easily get to in a regular car. Along the way, you will make 3 stops:<\/p>\n\n

      Hato<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      The safari begins at the open desert<\/strong> of Hato where the guide will tell you all about the volcanic and coral geological origins of the island. Then head toward the natural jacuzzi where you can enjoy and bathe in a shallow naturally formed pool and be showered by a natural fountain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Shete Boka<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      The next stop is the Shete Boka Natural Park<\/strong> where beautiful water spectacle is created by nature: the raging waves of the Caribbean Sea crashing hard on the rocks of the north coast. One of the highlights of this tour is Boka Tabla, the cave where the waves thunder and what the locals also call the breath of Curacao.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Jan Kok<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      On the way back stop at Jan Kok, Jan Kok is on the west side of town and is a very beautiful nature reserve. Here you can always spot flamingos<\/strong>. You can spot them on a jetty but you stay at a distance, but if you take the dirt roads you can see them a little closer. Always remember though: keep enough distance and try not to disturb them!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

      Around 1 p.m., the truck will arrive back at town and drop everyone off at their accommodations.<\/p>\n\n
